My Go-To West Hartford Restaurants
After living in West Hartford for the past five years, I’ve had the chance to try a lot of local restaurants—some just once, others more times than I can count. Whether you're new to the area or just looking for a great meal, here are a few of my go-to spots:
Coracora
This place completely changed how I think about Peruvian food. From the first time I tried their lomo saltado, I was hooked. The flavors are bold, the ingredients fresh, and the atmosphere always lively. I keep going back for the ceviche and the passion fruit drinks. It’s one of those restaurants that feels special every time you visit.
Park Lane Pizza
There’s something comforting about a neighborhood pizza joint, and Park Lane fits the bill perfectly. Their thin crust pizza is crisp and flavorful, and the grinders are packed and satisfying. It’s family-owned, which adds to the charm, and it’s an easy choice for a relaxed dinner or quick pickup on a busy night.
Ichiro Hibachi & Sushi
This spot is great for both sushi lovers and anyone who enjoys a bit of show with their meal. The hibachi chefs are fun to watch, especially if you’re with a group. The sushi rolls are fresh and well-made—I usually get the spicy tuna and a couple of seasonal specials. It’s a fun, casual place for a night out.
These three restaurants each offer something different, but they’ve all become part of my West Hartford routine. If you haven’t tried them yet, I definitely recommend adding them to your list.
