GastroPark is West Hartford’s premier "foodie playground," an industrial-chic destination in the Elmwood neighborhood that redefined outdoor dining in Connecticut. Occupying a beautifully repurposed former auto shop, this indoor/outdoor venue is built on the belief that food has the unique power to unite and empower a community.

A Hub for Pride

GastroPark doesn't just "celebrate" Pride; it serves as a home base for it. As a frequent host of the West Hartford Pride Kickoff, the venue transforms into a sea of rainbows every June, bringing together local leaders, performers, and community members. From high-energy drag performances and DJ sets to inclusive family days, Gastro Park provides a safe, joyful space where visibility and authenticity are at the forefront of the menu.

History & Vision

Founded by Tate Norden in 2020, GastroPark was born from a vision to create a small-business incubator. By providing a permanent home for a rotating roster of the region's best food trucks, the park helps local entrepreneurs scale their businesses while offering guests a "flavor rollercoaster" that changes with every visit.
